Since today is the first day of December, I thought I would ring in the winter month with a savory stewy soup for supper. It is the epitome of comfort and I think all of you should have the recipe. To get it, go here: Black Bean Pumpkin Soup
I substituted linked smoked sausage sliced into 1/4 inch slices and added extra tomatoes, extra cumin, cayenne pepper and used chicken broth (because that's what I had) and it is SO YUMMY!
You could easily make this vegetarian by using veggie broth and no sausage. It would also be easy to add other veggies to this as well. I hope you enjoy!

gosh your blog is making me drool! I want to have a cooking day with the missus. Next time I'm in Dallas or you're in Denver, let's go buy up half the grocery store and spend the whole day cooking.
