I have found a new fun blog to read daily called "Smitten Kitchen". The blog author is a young married woman who, like me, enjoys to cook tasty and aesthetically pleasing dishes. The difference is she is remarkably more talented in the kitchen and more dedicated to perfecting her talent than I am. The result- a witty and inspiring blog all about cooking what you enjoy for those you love. Recently, Deb (the blog author) posted an apple tart recipe that was so easy I didn't have to write down the recipe. I tried it and it was a success. Especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Here is my rendition:
It turned out tart, sweet and warm- perfect for the newly cool fall weather and perfect for my hubby with the sweet tooth.
