The Best Sangria EVER
I am not a huge drinker, but I enjoy a glass of great wine, the occassional very cold beer and Sangria! This weekend I went to a bridal shower for one of my co-workers (Katie- she and her man are eloping in the Bahamas this week) and one of the hostesses made the BEST Sangria I have ever had!
To make up for not posting in a month, I thought I would share the recipe with you.
1 bottle pinot grigio
1 1/2 cups peach schnapps
1 bottle ginger ale
1/4 cup sugar
frozen raspberries
frozen peaches
frozen mangos
Mix all the ingredients together.
Serve immediately.
This a great "punch" for bridal showers, bunco nights, a night with the girls, etc.
It is yum and easy!

This Sangria sounds like yummy party punch. Having been a non-drinker since college I probably won't try it. After that batch of "skip and go naked" in 1969 I swore off the stuff if I lived through the night!!!
"skip and go naked"??!!?? I think I need you to tell me this story!
The good thing about that Sangria is you could totally make it as a punch by using peach nectar instead of peach schnapps and skip the wine all together- just use more ginger ale. ;)
